Ranks and PPs

A very fun aspect of Call of Combat is that after time and a certain number of promotion points(PPs), you rank up.

Promotion Points

Promotion Points (PPs) are required to gain rank. They are handed out at the end of each game in debriefing. Contrary to what some believe, PPs are a REWARD and you aren't given them just for living. Usually they are split between all the players who survive, but if one person didn't do their fair share of work, the CO has the right to deprive people of these points. This doesn't mean, however, that the CO can hog all the pps. The CO may not be the CO of the game, but the highest ranking person in that room that is still alive at the end.

If you die in a game you lose PPS, in AG games you lose 3 times more than what you would normally lose in Opens and player stats. On the other hand, If you survive in an AG game, you gain more pps then what you would in a Opens or Player stats game.

Enlisted Ranks

Officer Ranks

These ranks can't be given to all. You can get these ranks if your AG CO or XO gives you a company or a promotion. For ranks to be available, the AG has to have a specified amount of active members and you must have at least 8000 pps. Rank tiers are viewable here.
