Etiquette
From CoCWiki
AG Etiquette is the set of unwritten rules, that are done out of good sportsmanship and good kindness (like when a sports player shakes their opponents hand). You won’t usually be banned for not abiding by these rules, but you won’t do yourself too many favors either, as players develop bad reputations if they show bad etiquette.

What are the unwritten rules then?
In AG Games...
- Holding fire and not moving when a player in the game disconnects (doesn’t apply if the player is dead in game)
- Force ending a game if a player disconnects and looks like they won’t return for most of the game. (doesn’t apply if the player is dead – this is done by “Help” -> “Request to abort the game”)
- Re-matching/completing a set (in AG games, on the same map, teams will play on one side first [e.g. Germany] then on the other to make it fair as the maps can give an advantage to one side)
- Following the orders of your CO (they are your Commanding Officer because they have the experience to know the best plan for a map)
- Both teams get a map choice (if there is time)
- Victory Points remain the most important part of the game. Abandoning the VPs to save yourself/force others to chase you creates frustration and is generally frowned upon.
In Player Stats
- Don't ask for plan right away. COs need time to plan. Wait until there are 30 seconds left to ask for one if one hasn't been given. There are no plans in open games.
- Work together with your team-mates.
- If you get a weapon, use it effectively. It was given to you for your job for a reason.
In All Games
- Listen to your CO and other higher ranked players, even if it's an open game if they tell you to do something there is a good reason for it.
- The player that stuns an enemy first gets that kill.
- Don't ask for weapons.
- PPs are distributed fairly (you can get PPs deducted or get banned by MPs if you decide to constantly take all the PPs)
- Help your teammates if they need it. Do not sit in the corner and do nothing. A team with players not working as a team are far more likely to lose than a team who is working together.
- Have a positive mental attitude to other players, especially new players.
- Being polite to players.
- Don’t “stack”. (“stacking” is a term in CallOfCombat where a lot of skilled players choose to join against a team that is far less skilled, making the teams very unfair for the less skilled – teams will always be slightly unfair to one side, and matured players try their best to keep the teams as equal as possible, which means the game is fun for both sides, not just one)
