Code of Conduct

Multiple Accounts
You shall not create or use more than one account (a.k.a. Multi's). This includes password sharing, using another account in the control panel, forum or game.
If a family member/friend/other wishes to play CoC using the same IP address you'll need to contact an MP who'll see through in a no points game that both of you can indepedently play (are 2 people). If you wish to play CoC on the same computer then you must share 1 account and not attempt to create a second one.
Harassment, innapropriate behaviour and offensive remarks
You shall not use any obscenity, profanity or otherwise defamatory or offensive remarks, or any racial, sexual, cultural, national or any other slurs against any person, User or not, within the service. Any behavior known as harassing, irritating, persistently tormenting, or impeding is not tolerated.
Teamnading/Teamkilling
The act of deliberately and repeatedly throwing grenades at teammates is considered an attempt to disrupt their enjoyment of the game and will be treated as such. Continued offences can result in lobby and all game room bans for a period of time determined by the Creators depending on the seriousness of the individual offences.
Teamnading is very debatable, if someone deliberately grenades a teammate and it was clearly malicious (no active enemies nearby)then this could result in a ban. Screenshots if possible of the scene and witnesses will help MPs to determine whether it was an 'accident' or not. Note:Teamkilling may result in longer bans as this hurts the stats of the victimised player and normaly happen when a player repeatedly nades the teammate.
Help! I have been teamnaded!
If you have been teamnaded, the MPs will require the following information:
- The 'suspect' of who teamnaded you
- Take a screenshot at the end of the game, showing the kills of the 'suspect' (it will show your name in red)
- Witnesses (optional, but help with your case)
The MP will then get both sides of the case, and take a look at the screenshot. They will then apply punishment when necessary.
Evading of the chat filter, 'spamming' and sabotaging chat
You shall not link to, use, enter, upload or display any image, text or other communication, that is offensive, sexually explicit, overly large or in any way disruptive or insulting to any location of the service or any game; including but not limited to the following:
- Any use of chat designed to reduce its accessibility to other users;
- Repeated entry of blank or non-blank statements to make the chat screen scroll up at an unreasonable speed;
- Repeated entry of meaningless messages;
- Entry of overly long messages;
- Entry of images in the chat areas.
Evading Chat Filter- There is a chat filter in place within the lobby and game rooms, any attempt to breach this by altering the filtered word e.g. ch.i.cken, ch1cken (chicken isn't a filtered word :P) will result in action being taken by MPs. A warning will usually be given on 1st offence at the MPs discretion.
Cheating and exploitation
You shall not knowingly use any cheat, glitch, or bug of the game, within any service; including but not limited to the following:
- The exploitation of error(s) in the game code(s) that allow you to gain an obviously unfair advantage in the game, or to gain points or statistics, unfairly*;
- The intentional suspension of a game in which you are losing to avoid the loss of points;
- The use of multiple accounts;
- The secret conspiracy with another User in a case where such conspiracy is clearly against the rules and objective of the game, i.e. give tactical plans for your team to someone on the other team.
- The action known as ‘nading over a wall’ is not considered to be a cheat. This is actually coded into the game, although the grenades appear to be thrown over the walls, at a code level they are thrown while you are in the correct line of sight, and then the soldier moves.
It is important you report this to an MP/staff member ASAP rather than accusing persons in chat/forums.
Important
You shall adhere to the EULA and all Call of Combat Rules.
You shall report violators of the Code of Conduct or the EULA to the Creators.
