What is being 'Banned'?

MPs have the ability to ban a player from the game if that player does not adher to the code of conduct, privacy policy and general rules of etiquette required upon sign up.

Bans can range from warnings to 15 minute bans right up to 6 month bans.

If you are banned you will recieve and email to your registered address explaining why you were banned and for how long. This email will also carry the amount of discipline points you recieved for the ban. These will add up - if you amount to 30DPs you will recieve a 6 month ban.

It is also possible to ban players from the game forums.

Code of Conduct

You must agree to abide by Call of Combat’s Code of Conduct unconditionally, or your use of any and all services are hereby prohibited:

You shall adhere to the EULA and all Call of Combat Rules below.

You shall report violators of the Code of Conduct or the EULA to the Creators.

You shall not create or use more than one account (a.k.a. Multi's).

You shall not use any obscenity, profanity or otherwise defamatory or offensive remarks, or any racial, sexual, cultural, national or any other slurs against any person, User or not, within the service. Any behavior known as harassing, irritating, persistently tormenting, or impeding is not tolerated. Note: The act of deliberately and repeatedly throwing grenades at teammates is considered an attempt to disrupt their enjoyment of the game and will be treated as such. Continued offences can result in lobby and all game room bans for a period of time determined by the Creators depending on the seriousness of the individual offences.

You shall not link to, use, enter, upload or display any image, text or other communication, that is offensive, sexually explicit, overly large or in any way disruptive or insulting to any location of the service or any game; including but not limited to the following:

  • Any use of chat designed to reduce its accessibility to other users;
  • Repeated entry of blank or non-blank statements to make the chat screen scroll up at an unreasonable speed;
  • Repeated entry of meaningless messages;
  • Entry of overly long messages;
  • Entry of images in the chat areas.

You shall not knowingly use any cheat, glitch, or bug of the game, within any service; including but not limited to the following:

  • The exploitation of error(s) in the game code(s) that allow you to gain an obviously unfair advantage in the game, or to gain points or statistics, unfairly*;
  • The intentional suspension of a game in which you are losing to avoid the loss of points;
  • The use of multiple accounts;
  • The secret conspiracy with another User in a case where such conspiracy is clearly against the rules and objective of the game, i.e. give tactical plans for your team to someone on the other team.

Violations of the Code of Conduct that is observed by Monitors or the Creators, or which results in a complaint by another User can result in action against you, as described in the EULA, including but not limited to the suspension, and/or termination of services, at the sole discretion of the Monitors and/or the Creators.

  • The action known as ‘nading over a wall’ is not considered to be a cheat. This is actually coded into the game, although the grenades appear to be thrown over the walls, at a code level they are thrown while you are in the correct line of sight, and then the soldier moves.

What can I do if I want to discuss my ban

If you are not sure why you have been banned, or would like to discuss it in more detail please email mp@callofcombat.com be sure to bring any evidence that may help you if wrongly accused. Example: A screenshot showing a player Team Nading you.

Info

  • It is somewhat unknown as to why every ban ends with "and 3 minute's"
  • Do NOT Spam MP emails, they are there to help. Abusing that will result in a Ban.
  • Do NOT post about Bans on the Call of Combat forums.

Shiva states; "Using the forums is a privilege, not a right. Abuse it; and you will lose that Privilege."
