There are two types of AG Games:

NPO (Non-Playoff)
Where both AGs do not Gain or Lose Points. These can however be used to get active for your AG.
PO (Playoff)
Playoff (Commonly known as Regular AG Game) is where both AG's playing will either gain or loose (depending on whether you win or loose) points towards the Monthly Standings.

Etiquette in AG Games

Note: This may also apply to NPO.

  • Holding fire and not moving when a player in the game is disconnected by accident (doesn't apply if the player is dead in game)
  • Force ending a game if a player disconnects and looks like they won't return for most of the game. (doesn't apply if the player is dead - this is done by "Help" -> "Request to abort the game")
  • Re-matching/completing a set (in AG games, on the same map, teams will play on one side first [e.g. Germany] then on the other to make it fair as the maps can give an advantage to one side).
  • Following the orders of your CO (they are your Commanding Officer because they have the experience to know the best plan for a map).
  • Both teams get a map choice (if there is time).
  • Victory Points remain the most important part of the game. Abandoning the VPs to save yourself/force others to chase you creates frustration and is generally frowned upon.

Note: You cannot be banned for not following these rules, they are what ags expect of you. However, if you choose not to, the AG CO's might kick you out of your AG and other may not accept you to theirs.

In a playoff match each AG is asked to follow an etiquette, like matching each other and playing fair teams. Agree at the beginning of the game with the opposing CO if you do not intend to follow basic etiquette. After every AG game stats are recorded and Each AG will gain/lose points which will then be put onto the AG Comparisons.

AGs that come 1st/2nd usually gain ranks due to the amount of active players they have in their AG. An active player is a player thats play 20 or more AG games for the current month in their current AG, the more actives an AG has to more rank tiers they may be able to advance in.
